The Huggers had a busy year last year, including playing twice at The Tesco Store in Havant.
Our festive season was especially active beginning, again, with The Rowans Christmas fair on Hayling and ending with The Huggers playing for a local pantomime 'Alice in Blunderland' held in Northney Village Hall for two nights in January. This season alone netted just over £600 all of which was donated to Naomi House/Jack's Place Hospice.
We look forward to beginning our new season on April 25th when we have been asked to play for the 'Memory Club' in Havant.
Over the Christmas period, beginning with The Rowan's Hospice Fair on Hayling and ending with a panto 'The Hunt for the Ruby Slippers' at Northney Village Hall also on Hayling, we raised just over £500 for Naomi House/Jack's Place. There was a lot of fun and laughter on the way , being part of the panto was especially delightful. Throughout we have met some delightful people. So Thankyou to you all.
At the beginning of February we start with this years gigs.
We have quite a busy few weeks ahead of us with both public and private events booked.
On Saturday November 14th 2015 we are playing at The Rowans Xmas Fair fundraiser being held at the the URC hall in Hollow Lane Hayling in the morning. We will have a collection bucket for our favoured charity Naomi House/ Jack's Place.
Please come along and support two very worthwhile charities plus the chance to buy some Christmas presents...and have a sing along and/or dance to our playing.
Thursday December 10th sees us playing at the Southern Co-Operative store at the corner of Tournebury Lane. The money collected will be divided between the store's charity for the year 'Whizz Kidz' and Naomi House/ Jack's Place which is our favoured charity. We will be playing from 10am.
