Fareham Sailing and Motor Boat Club.

Saturday 4th September 2021.  Another very pleasurable event at the FSMBC Annual Summer Gathering. A lively afternoon once again playing a mixture of songs including many that the audience, a mixture of ages, joined in with us. We very much appreciated the hospitality of the club in providing us with drinks during our interval and must say a very big 'Thank You' for, not only the generous donation from the club itself, but also the impromptu collection by the club members at the end of the performance which raised an additional £113.45 for the youngsters at Naomi House.

Alton & Petersfield Multiple Sclerosis Groups

On Sunday 15th August 2021 we had the pleasure of playing at the Alton & Petersfield MS Groups Annual BBQ. A very enjoyable afternoon playing a mix of old and new songs which was appreciated by a varied age group. We must say a very big thank you to the groups for inviting us to share their BBQ and also for their generous donation to our chosen charity.

COVID-19 Update - August 2020

During the lockdown period we have kept in touch via e-mails and even had some sessions together using Zoom. These gave us social contact but the playing together was difficult. So now things have eased and the weather has been fine we have held some sessions playing in one of our member's back garden. Immediately this was better and, always observing social distancing, we will continue with these as long as the weather holds and rules allow.

Although we have not been able to perform at the various places we were booked in to play at in 2020 because of lockdown and the coronavirus preventing groups and events taking place, we now look forward and hope to play for them and others in 2021.

With great sadness we say farewell to Avril Keyes the leader of the Huggers Ukulele group who passed away recently. We have lost a brilliant musician and friend who will be greatly missed.
